Before and After

We've noticed a real difference in the shape of Abby's head since she's been wearing the helmet.  I hope that you can see the difference in these pictures!

This was taken the day before Abby got her helmet.

This was taken about three weeks after she got her helmet.

I can see it in the shape of the front of her head too.  The skull is definitely filling in in the back now and her head isn't as wide.

This picture makes her cheeks look humongous!

Every now and then, I will try to post some pictures of the head-shaping process.  I'm glad it's working!!

I find this incredibly interesting and amazing. Her head is already truly beginning to change. The specialists and the medical devices and therapies available are so incredible but I will always admire your perseverence and ability to jump into so many different challenges and ensure you understand it all completely - which then allows your "instincts" to kick in which have served Abby so well. It's easy to love our children but it takes courage and hard work to do what you do day after day AND then to share it with the world. I so admire the faith you hold so dear and all of us reading your site have likely increased our faith and trust in the Lord...Abby is a living breathing miracle and she is so blessed to have the parents, big brother, grandparents and aunts, uncles, and cousins she has...afterall, it does take a village, doesn't it?

PS - I told your dad that I read your site nearly every day because I'm hooked on Abby and it's much like reading a novel for me - I just can't wait for the ending - And just so you know, I not only love happy endings but I depend upon them!
