Life as a Leach

Well, our "snow" was nothing but one big disappointment.  We got a whole lot of nuttin', but Caleb did get to come home from school two hours early because of the threat of snow.  I dug out the snow suits, waterproofed the boots, and anxiously awaited the "storm" to begin....it never did.  :( So, I guess Abby's first real snow won't be until next year.  Sadness.

SNOW!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooo excited for the snow in the forecast!!!  We had none to speak of last year, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Abby's reaction to the white stuff.  This will be her first experience!  Caleb has never really cared for it, but I'm hoping maybe I have one snow lover who will build a snowman with me!  :) If we get what they say we're going to, then pictures of our snow activities will be coming!!

Abby has a boyfriend. It's our Abby-sized snowman decoration, and she absolutely loves him. She feeds him, carries him around the house, dances with him, and gives him high fives and fist bumps.  Yesterday, I caught her trying to wash his hands in the bathroom after he went potty.  They look at the Christmas cards together multiple times a day. A few days ago, Abby insisted that Snowman go upstairs with her when I went up to fold laundry.  I told her that if she wanted him upstairs, she would have to bring him. Oh yes, she did. I'm not sure how I feel about this, but Abby also loves to plant big fat kisses right on his snowman lips.  Matt's pretty concerned about this, but Abby is definitely the initiator at this point.  We're keeping a close eye on Snowman and have had a few talks with Abby about public displays of affection!
