The Girl Fuzz

Let's start with this. Becky got a new bed because the zipper of her old one broke off and we couldn't keep the stuffing in. Plus, it had holes in it. She's pretty tough on her beds! This new bed is leaving fuzz all over the floor. You know it's a lot when your son starts playing with it...

...and now for the real story. Caleb picked up a random piece of fuzz and started talking to it. He then decided that it was actually a girl, and he named her Fuzz (very original, I know!). He took her to the thrift store with us, reluctantly leaving her on the seat while we went in there. I wasn't about to have people staring at my weird kid talking to his friend Fuzz! When we got home and he went to the bathroom, he sat Fuzz on the stool out of harm's way (a lesson learned after this happened). When Caleb stepped up on the stool to wash his hands, he of course had to wash Fuzz too! "She's dirty, Momma," he said with a touch of impatience. Silly me...

Thankfully, Fuzz seems to have disappeared for the time being. Although there could be any number of replacements on our floor thanks to Becky's bed, he doesn't seem too interested. I can't say that I'm disappointed, because I was beginning to think I had a real weirdo on my hands!
